Kathryn Mendenhall, Youth Minister, was brought up in Cedar Hill, Texas, spending most of her time outdoors competing in sports such as swimming and kayak races. She received her B.S. degree in marine & freshwater biology at The University of Texas at Austin, and her M.S. degree in fisheries & mariculture at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. If asked to describe herself in three words, she would say resourceful, adaptive, and compassionate. She currently serves as a Wings Intern at the Trinity River Audubon Center in Dallas, and a volunteer at the Dallas Zoo/Children's Aquarium, all of which provide her the opportunity to work youth (something she loves). Kathryn will be marrying her undergraduate sweetheart, Adrian, this coming October.

Jose and Martha Weller have been members of Saint Anne for almost 5 years. Martha is a middle school math teacher and Jose works for a spine and pain management center.

Ftr. Jim Harris serves as the Senior Leader/Pastor with support from Laural Harris and Suzy Keylon.  We are engaging the younger Saint Anne Adults (all of them!) as supportive ministers who assist us via rotation.

For example; at a recent lock-in we had young adults rotating in and out all night performing a variety of tasks from helping with games and monitoring activity, to supervising the youth in charge of cooking dinner, to sitting and holding vigil over the youth as they began to bed down watching a movie or two, to coming in and cooking pancakes for the youth early on Sunday morning.

Ftr. Jim says: "It works great and keeps me in the leadership and relationship building role.  We have a LARGE group of youth and they are active, active, active! They’re pretty smart too (gotta keep an eye on them!)"
