St. Anne's has an active ministry for adults. Our adult formation or growth in the Christian life happens in several different ways. Primarily, adult formation happens on Sunday mornings. Since we are a sacramental church, the best way to see and experience how we live out the Christian life is to come worship with us either at 8 am or 10 am on Sunday mornings. You may also worship with us on Wednesday evenings from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm in All Souls Chapel.
However, following the 8 am service and beginning at 9 am there is adult Christian formation that meets in St. John's room in our Education building. The class is currently studying Richard Foster's classic text, Celebration of Discipline: The Path to Spiritual Growth, together. This class meets from 9 am to 9:45 am each week. This class is led by a wonderful lay woman, Madeleine Hoffman.
There is also a Thursday morning Bible Study group that meets from 10:30 am to 11:30 am in St. John's room. Fr. David Miller is leading the class through a reading of C. S. Lewis's classic, The Screwtape Letters.
The Daughters of the King (DOK) is a women's prayer and service group that all women are welcome and encouraged to attend. DOK meets every first Sunday of the month in the library from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm.
The Brotherhood of St. Andrew (BOSA) is a men's prayer, study, and service group that all men are welcome and encouraged to attend. BOSA meets every second and fourth Wednesday of the month from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm in St. John's room.
In addition to worshipping, studying together, and serving together, we also engage in fellowship through shared meals, and other fun activities such as Burgers and Bingo. Please visit our calendar or Events page for upcoming events.
